Peter Bramble

Peter Bramble is a freelance historian, broadcaster and journalist. He graduated in 1975 from The University of Glasgow with a degree in Classical Theology before studying for a second degree in Abnormal Psychology from University College in Cork. Peter went on to accomplish a Masters Degree in Celtic Mythology at the University of North Wales in Bangor before beginning his Phd. in Christian Doctrine at King's College, London. Thus Peter can uniquely express himself as Peter Bramble MA. BA. BSc. and can claim to have studied in England Ireland Scotland AND Wales! Peter has yet to finish his Doctorate, he jokes, “Life got in the way!” .

Peter is perhaps best known for his broadcasting work, contributing to various BBC Television productions during the 1980's including Pebble Mill and See Hear! He has since presented a number of theological radio programmes for various commercial radio stations. Peter now lives in self – imposed “semi-retirement” at his home in Bath, appearing as an after dinner speaker and indulging his fascination with all things paranormal. Peter is Editor of “Are We Scared Yet?” a paranormal activity journal with an impressive circulation in England and Wales. Peter has also been closely involved with the infamous Black River House Murders in Kildubhan, Eire and has published a book and several articles on the subject as well as creating and maintaining the Black River House web site. He is currently working on a radio drama based on the real events which will be serialised sometime later this year.
